FORUM
This 5-part web series,
released online for Pink Shirt Day 2010, was put together from
interviews conducted at the Mental Health Foundation's Bullying
Forum, a full-day event which looked at what kind of bullying is taking
place in schools, the methods of bullying that occur, what is currently being done to address it and how this can be improved upon.
WINNING WAYS
TO WELLBEING
This 4-part web series,
conceived for Mental Health Awareness Week 2009, spoke to various
people about their perspectives on mental health and
wellbeing. In the first clip, Maori language scholar and author Ruth Makuini Tai talks about finding out who you really are as well as providing new insights into the meaning of "aroha" and the simple greeting "kia ora".
In the second, Minnie Baragwanath, diversity project adviser from the Auckland City Council talks about maintaining wellbeing when living with a disability.
FIGHTING
SHADOWS
This short behind-the-scenes documentary details the making of
singer/songwriter Johnny Matteson's mental health awareness song,
Fighting Shadows.
EMPLOYMENT
- WHAT YOU DO MAKES THE DIFFERENCE
This video, produced for a Like Minds, Like Mine hotspot campaign
on discrimination in employment, speaks to Vero health and safety
manager Glenys Barker about the company's inclusive policies.
TEDDY:
THE VIDEO DIARIES
This web series was conceived to promote the short film Teddy
during its festival run in 2009. Four episodes were produced
in total. The first clip looks at the making of the film,
with behind-the-scenes footage; the second details the film's San
Francisco premiere, featuring an interview with Frameline festival
director K.C. Price.
